80 Years Later – The Wartime Experiences Of Flying Officer W.M. Anglin

My Dad, Flying Officer W.M. Anglin served in the RCAF with 77 Sqn of the RAF, completing 35 Ops as a Bomb Aimer on Halifax Bombers in 1944/1945.

I envisioned this website as a companion to the original concept that I launched as a Facebook group in 2022.

Both platforms serve to recount my Dad’s wartime experiences commencing with him being sworn in to the RCAF on 1 May 1942 in London, Ontario and concluding with his demobilization in October 1945.

While the original Facebook group included posts recording what my Dad had experienced on that date in 1942, 1943, 1944 and 1945, this website simply recreates those Facebook daily posts in chronological order.
